About Godoy Law P.A.

Godoy Law P.A. is a Miami-based immigration law firm founded by Hilmarys Godoy-Villard, Esq. The firm focuses exclusively on U.S. immigration law and represents clients in English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole. We handle family-based petitions, citizenship, deportation defense, asylum, TPS, and other immigration matters across Miami-Dade County.

Our Focus

Immigration Is All We Do

Immigration law is the only thing we do. Every case in the office is an immigration case. That focus is intentional. Immigration policy shifts constantly – regulations change, USCIS adjudication priorities move, and Florida-specific procedures evolve. A firm that handles immigration alongside personal injury, family law, and criminal defense cannot keep up. We can.

How We Work

Clear Fees
We quote flat fees for most case types in writing before you sign anything. You know what the case will cost before you decide to hire us. Government filing fees are separate and itemized.
Direct Attorney Contact
Clients work with attorney Hilmarys Godoy-Villard. Paralegals support case preparation, but legal strategy, hearings, and substantive client conversations happen with the attorney. Calls and emails get a response within one business day.
Honest Case Assessment
Some cases we cannot win. Some cases are too risky to file. Some clients are better served by a different attorney or a different strategy entirely. We say so during the consultation. We would rather lose a fee than file a case that ends in denial, removal, or bar to future relief.

Languages We Practice In

Many South Florida immigration firms advertise services in Spanish but quietly route Spanish-speaking clients through an English-speaking attorney with a translator on the call. We do not. Spanish and Haitian Creole are working languages of this firm. Legal documents, USCIS forms, interview prep, and court hearings are conducted in the client’s preferred language whenever possible.

English

All federal immigration practice is conducted in English at the agency and court level. Our written work product meets professional English standards regardless of consultation language.
